CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Join us in praying for our world at this time as many people have been adversely impacted by the flu season, including the new COVID19 (Coronavirus). God is the great physician who heals and can intervene when His people pray. Let’s pray for the healing of all those affected and pray for protection for all of us in the United States.

PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING

We understand that some of you have concerns about your health during this season, and we want to make you aware of the precautions that we are implementing immediately so that we can maintain the health and wellbeing of our church family. As you worship with us in the coming weeks, here are some of the extra steps we are taking to promote your health and wellbeing:
•Worship Center – We will be doing extra cleaning and disinfecting before and after all of our services.
•Hand Sanitizer Stations – We will be placing hand sanitizers in the lobby, prayer room, fellowship hall, the Oasis, and other key locations.
*If you have an extra hand sanitizer that you could donate, that would be a blessing as stores are running out.
•Welcoming each other – When welcoming each other, we recommend smiling and waving rather than shaking hands to prevent any unnecessary spread of germs.
•Sickness – If you or your family members experience a fever, we ask you to stay home and feel better soon.

YOUR PERSONAL HEALTH HABITS

•Washing hands- Maintain proper hygiene by thoroughly washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol- based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Tip – Say the Lord’s Prayer while washing your hands (takes around 20 seconds).
•Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.
•Clean and properly disinfect any objects that you regularly touch like your cell phone.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

We want to remind the people of God not to fear, but to trust in the Lord even more. Remember that Jesus still calls us to be light in the darkness, and the salt that seasons the world around us.

Here are a few verses for you to mediate upon during this time of trial:
Isaiah 41:10; Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Psalm 27:1; The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

Blessings,
