Ongoing IAM Project

Please continue to bring your peanut butter and jelly and your empty jelly jars for IAM and drop them in the designated box across from the church office.

December Food Focus: hams; turkeys; canned: sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, corn, cranberry sauce, apple sauce, pie filling (pumpkin, apple, cherry); boxed or bagged: instant potatoes, bread mix, muffin mix, biscuit mix, cake mix, cake frosting

Hams and turkeys may be dropped off at the IAM 310 Freeman Street location, or you can write a check to IAM and specify to purchase hams and turkeys.

December Clothing Focus: men's, ladies', & children's coats, sweat pants, and sweatshirts

Technology Team Meeting

The Technology Team will meet briefly immediately following this Sunday morning's service.  This meeting is for existing members as well as anyone interested in joining.  No technical knowledge is required; we can teach anyone who wants to learn.

Finance Committee Meeting

The Finance Committee will meet this Tuesday, December 5, at 6:30 PM.

Out to Lunch Bunch

There will be no Out to Lunch Bunch in November or December; they will pick back up in January.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

The Lottie Moon Christmas offering will be received through Sunday, December 24.  Please pray and give as the Lord leads.  100% of your gifts will go toward International Missions.

Want an easy way to share your faith? Then be sure to pick up a packet of cards from the table outside the sanctuary. Simply hand the cards to store clerks, neighbors, friends, family members, or anyone who might have questions or doubts, and invite them to visit the website for answers to some of life's hard questions. If they choose to do so, they will also be linked to our church to be contacted, ask questions, or make comments. Check it our yourself and see what it says about God, Jesus, truth, marriage, depression, and more. See how many cards you can give away!

Christmas Parade

Hendersonville Christmas Parade is this Saturday, December 2, at 10 AM in downtown Hendersonville.  Please come out, enjoy the parade, and support WHBC in our outreach to our community.  We will have a float in the parade and will hand out fliers about upcoming events.

MOPS Meeting

MOPS will meet Tuesday morning from 9 AM until 11 AM.  Please see our MOPS Facebook page for the latest updates on our MOPS Ministry. 

Cookie Bake

We will be baking cookies in the Fellowship Hall the next three Wednesday evenings (instead of Bible Study) for our EMS, First Responders, Fire & Rescue, and Law Enforcement. that's December 6, 13, and 20, at 6:00 PM. Please bring cookie dough (not mix), plastic or tin cookie containers, and waxed paper.

Christmas Special

Our Christmas special this year will be Sunday, December 17, at 11:00 AM and 6:30 PM. The choir will be transformed into three singing Christmas trees to present The Greatest Story Ever Told. Please bring your family and friends to share in this very special celebration of Christ's birth.
